Song of the Week - Updated Every Wednesday! [Archive]

"Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head" by Gorillaz ~ I recently heard there's a new mini-movie out from Gorillaz that goes with their latest album. I have yet to see it or listen to the album but have heard good things about the movie from people discussing online, so I'm excited to check it out. I remember watching Gorillaz music videos on MTV or VH1 as a kid and loving them ever since. I can't say if I have a favourite Gorillaz song, but I really enjoy this song's narration style and am curious to see if it has any relation to the new movie/album.

"The World Never Got Violent" from Patrick Keane ~ Totally thought I uploaded this one last night. A hilarious monologue about how dangerous the world has always been. He is saying the same 'thing' quite a few times, but in uniquely funny ways - once you think he's done, he keep going, line after line, but the joke never misses.

Site of the Week - Updated Every Sunday! [Archive]

Flowers of India ~ I've showcased different sites on various plants and flowers before, but this new one is for India - and it's amazing how many plants and details are available on this 20+ year old site. You can view the different flowers by different botanical groupings, region, or even different applications like medicinal and fragrant plants. With a region as large as India, you could spend hours reading through all of the different flowers from the Country.
