Favourite Episode: "The Ultimate Enemy"

  Continuing with my Nickelodeon cartoon binge, I picked up Danny Phantom after completing The Fairly OddParents; both of which I consider part of the 'Big 4' Nicktoons of the 200s alongside Jimmy Neutron, and SpongeBob SquarePants. I absolutely loved playing the video game crossovers with these characters, and it is unfortunate that Danny seems to have gotten a considerably less amount of attention compared to these other shows. Danny Phantom has a near identical art-style of The Fairly OddParents, with tons of special effects and a great developing story that was cut short in its 56 episode run.
  What I really appreciated when watching through this time was the reoccurring villains in the show. And not only the villains, but the anti-heroes like Valerie and occasionally Vlad and the other ghosts when push comes to shove. This dynamic of ghosts relying on Danny to help with their spooky needs and hunting him due to his meddling made the episodes very entertaining with a bit of unpredictability.
  Also having watched this show growing up, there were many episodes I recalled partial plots of, but not nearly to the degree of some others. It may have been due to the show being canceled rather early compared to other shows like Fairly OddParents, however I am hoping that can be used as reason to rebooted as it felt almost incomplete with Danny still trying to get a full grasp on all of his power and villains like Future Danny having threatened to come back with no avail. The episode with Future Danny trying to take over, "The Ultimate Enemy", was actually one of my favourite episodes this watchthrough, so I very much hope we can see him return on screen one day.
