Favourite Episode: "Finding Emo"

I started watching this show right alongside Jimmy Neutron and, as I've mentioned on that review, The Fairly OddParents was one of the foundational shows from my childhood. Whenever I tuned into Nickelodeon, it was one of two shows, SpongeBob SquarePants, or Butch Hartman's other popular show from the era - Danny Phantom; which is the show I am watching next! It was interesting to see how unhinged The Fairly OddParents became in the later seasons, which is a detail that started to grow on me the more wild episodes got.
I was always a bit surprised when growing up that The Fairly OddParents was still being produced, as I had stopped watching shortly after Poof was born. Although I was not initially found of the character when first created, Poof grew on me much more this watch-through. However, some of the other newer Characters like Sparky the Dog and Chloe Carmichael (who's voice actress, Kari Wahlgren also does tons of notable work like Kagami in the anime, Lucky Star), came and left so quickly, they did not have the time to have much character development. I especially would have enjoyed a series finale to find out what happens to all of these characters. But who knows, maybe the show will be revived yet again! However, there is still the new sequel series, A New Wish, that I may end up watching for the possibility of a resolution to Timmy's godparent situation.
Since I had watched this show so much while growing up, it is easy to name an episode like "Channel Chasers" or the "Jimmy Timmy Power Hour" trilogy as my favourite episodes, and they honestly are, but I prefer to select an episode that stood out to me during the latest watch-through. One of the episodes in the nutty later seasons that still has me thinking about it is "Finding Emo". In this song, we have Cosmo transforming into a tractor and singing. His sweet serenade is stuck in my skull.
