Favourite Episode: "Professor Calamitous, I Presume"

This was one of my most-watched shows a child, alongside SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents. I remember this show being really good, but after this re-watch I could not even say anything negative about a single episode. Truly a 5/5 show in my opinion. I have also recently discovered that this show was intended to have a fourth season, but got canceled before airing. Here's to hoping the show comes back in the near future, which seems to be a possibility!
I wonder if the shows I watched as a kid influenced my interests or if my interests determined the shows I was willing to watch. I had mentioned that Rocket Power had an impact on the different sports that I enjoy; and it is possible that Jimmy Neutron was a key part in fueling my fascination in the Sciences. Ultimately, I think if we are not inherently interested in a subject or a show, then it will not alter our feelings on the topic; but an interest on a subject can be developed further by consuming media adjacent to the subject.
As I mentioned in the first paragraph, this show has nearly no bad moments. The world of Jimmy Neutron feels a lot more complete and real than many other shows (cartoon or not). This show provides us insight into the lives of just a Boy Genius and a couple of his closest friends, but many other classmates and their parents that help push plot in various episodes. Not to mention the numerous reoccurring antagonists that battle Jimmy & the Crew. It is because of these antagonists that I decided to select "Professor Calamitous, I Presume" as my favourite episode, as it sets up a villain that will come back in many surprising ways. And of course, a special mention to the Jimmy-Timmy crossover episodes with The Fairly OddParents - one of the best crossovers in TV history.
